FlickrExport 2.0.7 for iPhoto, FlickrExport 1.0.2 for Aperture and FlickrExport Lite 1.0.2 for Aperture!
Some news and updates for you today. Firstly, updates to your favourite plugins:
In both of the above updates the following are new or changed:
Features
- FlickrExport now provides controls to set the moderation level on uploaded images. For more information on self moderation, please see Flickr’s help page on the subject. [188]
Bug Fixes
- FlickrExport now disables the Add to Pool checkbox if the logged in account is not a member of any group.
- FlickrExport now shows the login progress sheet when logging back in after a logout.
- [APERTURE] Fixed a bug in which Aperture keywords which were wrapped in quotes would have additional quotes added by FlickrExport. This broke the formatting of tags on Flickr.
Introducing FlickrExport Lite for Aperture
We’ve renamed the free version of FlickrExport that used to be known as the “Flickr Plugin for Aperture” as FlickrExport Lite for Aperture and integrated its distribution into the Connected Flow website. The Flickr page will be updated soon.
Hopefully this will reduce confusion about the difference between the free and shareware versions and make support easier. The feature comparison list has been updated to show the differences between FlickrExport for Aperture and FlickrExport Lite.
The version numbering for FlickrExport Lite for Aperture begins at 1.0.2 to make it clear that it’s now at bug-fix parity with FlickrExport 1.0.2 for Aperture.
Coming Soon: FlickrExport Previews
I’ve been working since December on a rewritten uploading engine for FlickrExport. This is a pretty major change – probably the biggest reworking of FlickrExport internals since 1.3.0. I hope to be in a position to start releasing early betas in a couple of weeks.
The betas will probably come for iPhoto first. The Aperture version is a little less polished right now. Stay tuned.
