FlickrExport 1.3.0b1
Connected Flow’s first release! FlickrExport has been updated to support the new Flickr/Yahoo! merged accounts and their new method of authentication. We’ve also added support for asynchronous photo uploading, which will help reliability.
Because these are big changes (almost a total rewrite of FlickrExport) and because our lovely users are just desperate to get back to using FlickrExport, we’ll be making a series of beta releases. This is a first beta release, so it’s possible you may have the odd problem. If you do, please send an email to flickrexport at connectedflow.com, where we’ll do our best to help you.
Finally, you can read the release notes or download FlickrExport 1.3.0b1. If you’re subscribed to the RSS 2.0 feed of this weblog, you should have an enclosure that points directly to the download since this is an Appcast-enabled blog.

Hello Fraser,
Just switched to your new feed for the appcast… It’s no longer automatically showing up as an enclosure in NNW…

Jeremy, it’s working in my NetNewsWire, but I’ll look into it.

Just installed and it’s not working. I click on the Export menu and nothing happens. Now I can’t export pictures in any way. Can this be an issue related to a different language release?

Macubu, please send as much information as you have to the bug reporting address: flickrexport at connectedflow.com. What language are you using? Does anything appear in Console.app?
Thanks,

Same problem of macubu. Mac OSX 10.3.9, iPhoto 5, language: italian. I’m trying to uninstall immediately, waiting for new release…

I was able to get it installed, authenicated against flickr and happly uploading photos. However, I did notice a problem with the way it’s handling encoding on tags. See http://www.flickr.com/photos/sjungling/37407534/ for an example. It’s trying to escape quotes and there’s a leftover “content” chunk.

I can merge my account without fear now! Thanks!

needs to authenticate on flickr every time I upload. Has now stalled uploading and I will probably have to force quit iphoto again. Doesn’t allow me to pick other options for exporting. Does the earlier release still work? I seem to not have the old installer.10.4.2 english. iphoto 5.2

I’d appreciate it if everyone who left a bug report above could re-send them to flickrexport at connectedflow.com.
I’m going to close the comments now.
